Quantum Physicist Robert Lanza has
proven that one of the most fundamental and philosophical questions
humans ponder has finally been solved – there is an afterlife. No longer
is it the fact that humans are only carbon-based vessels of flesh. No
longer is it the fact that humans inhabit the earth for a minute period
only to depart life and waste away among the sands of time. There is
more to life than the eye can see and the mind can comprehend.
Dr. Robert Lanza is the person to whom the gratitude is owed for this
discovery. He is both Chief Scientific Officer of Advanced Cell
Technology and Adjunct Professor at the Institute for Regenerative
Medicine at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine. If any title
is in need of an abbreviation, his would certainly warrant an acronym.
Lanza states that scientists have hitherto thought of life as, “the
activity of carbon in an admixture of molecules.” He argues that the
notion of consciousness plays a fundamental role in the creation of the
universe and all therein. Lanza explains that science considers time and
space as physical entities which develops an incorrect understanding
for creation and continuing life of the universe.
Physicists have promulgated the understanding that space and time are
linear functions. When explained through string theory or, “M theory,”
in a 16 dimensional universe there are Planck length points at the one
dimensional level called strings or membranes. To get from point to
another is going from point A to point B which constitutes a linear
function of quantum travel. However, Lanza’s biocentric theories creates
a novel methodology which argues that these constraints of the physical
world are nothing more than paradigms of our consciousness.
Biocentrism is a cosmological argument
that biology created the universe. In this sense, consciousness acts as
what Saint Thomas Aquinas called, the first mover, unmoved. Furthermore,
Lanza’s hypothesis stems from French philosopher Rene Descartes who
created the idea of dualism – the ontological argument of a body that
incorporates a mind or consciousness to create a life. In Lanza’s
understanding, consciousness created the universe – the afterlife being
supported by Lanza’s theory on consciousness through quantum physics.
While this has mainly seemed as a philosophical mind experiment,
Lanza can physically prove this metaphysical notion. He used the famous
double-slit experiment as an example. He states that when observed,
particles will travel through one of the slits like a bullet, parallel
to modern physics. However, when someone is not actively watching the
experiment, particles travel through both slits at the same time.
The experiment shows that matter has
the characteristic of light at the quantum level. When moving through a
double slit, particles take on properties of light in wavelengths at the
obstacle. The particle then shifts into a quantum superposition and
travels through both slits at the same time. Such a quantum phenomenon
shows that elements are not what they seem to be and can change based on
a person’s perception.
Although Lanza’s experiment warrants a proven hypothesis, an
existential argument can be made. If a big bang happens in an
ever-expanding vacuum and there are no life forms around to hear it, did
it happen?
Lanza states that there is more to the theory than can be
perceived. The problem is, however, there do not seem to be lines
of communication to entities in the afterlife. Though, Lanza’s theory
can prove that life can transcend the linear construct upon which our
understanding of the universe is based. When people cease to exist their
essence surpasses the boundaries of the physical world into an
inescapable multiverse.
Reception of Lanza’s monumental theory has been mixed across the
board. Nevertheless, while some may believe it is a foolhardy notion,
Galileo’s denouncement of a geocentric solar system was granted heresy
by the Catholic Church centuries ago.
More on this vast cosmological theory and how quantum physics can prove the existence of an afterlife can be found in his book Biocentrism: How Life and Consciousness are the Keys to Understanding the True Nature of the Universe.
